Due to workload Karen was becoming more selective in her service offering. She sold the garden maintenance side of her business so she could concentrate on the garden design. She also wanted to attract more affluent customers as often client couldn’t action all their ideas due to costs of materials etc. This would also allow Karen to work on larger projects, showing more of her range of skills.
I was to Design a new logo that spoke more to her new market and clearly communicated it was a design and not a maintenance company. It also had to work across social media as it would be her prime method of marketing her business.
The final design, especially when compared to her previous logo was more aspirational, restrained and personalised. It showed a more creative touch but still retains impact.
Karen now has more confidence in her company’s look and feel. This confidence has translated into getting the bigger budget projects she wished for so she can express her vision fully. Her order book has also, since the the logo redesign never been as fully, again giving her more confidence.
